DeLaval Sales AB is part of the Northern Europe region and handles sales in the Swedish market. The company has about 180 employees. The headquarters is located in Tumba, south of Stockholm, next to the research and development farm Hamra. Here is also the group's headquarters and factory for milking robots. 

In the role of service technician, technology is at the core of your work. You are responsible for service, troubleshooting, and repair of DeLaval's products, such as milking systems and milking robots. You work independently in DeLaval's sales tools where you plan and book your service visits as well as perform simpler installations. The role also includes identifying and analyzing the customer's needs for accessories, spare parts, and consumables.

You will work from home and primarily operate in Närke and parts of Värmland. On-call work in a larger geographical area as well as travel and overnight stays may occur in the position, and you may need to work in surrounding areas as needed. Your days will consist of visiting customers in meetings that you schedule yourself. We also encourage you to take the initiative to visit your customers spontaneously to further strengthen customer relationships and perhaps even create relationships with new customers. 

To succeed in the position and be long-term with DeLaval, you will receive extensive basic training at Hamra farm in Tumba, travel with experienced colleagues, and continuous further education. 

This is the position for you who thrives in a flexible job where you plan your own days. You have a great deal of drive and work goal-oriented and independently with your tasks. The position as a service technician also involves administrative work, such as invoicing and booking your own customer visits.

To succeed in the role, we believe you are practically inclined with work experience as an electrician, mechanic, or from similar technical roles. You have a solid technical interest that may manifest in your great interest in vehicles, vehicle mechanics, and computers. Furthermore, you have high social competence and thrive in personal meetings where you sell yourself as the customer's personal service technician. You value providing good service to the highest standard. 

• High school education, preferably in electrical/technical programs or work experience in a relevant field for the position.
• A strong technical interest and a passion for providing good service to customers.
• Good computer skills.
• Driver's license B.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing as well as good knowledge of English.

• Experience in agriculture, animal husbandry, and/or milk production.

Start date: By agreement.

Extent: Full-time.

Location: You will work from home in the position and operate towards Närke with a preferred residence in Nora/Lindesberg.
